Style queen Vanessa couldn’t contain her excitement, posting on her Twitter: “Just at the opening night of HAIR am very excited heard its amazing! [sic]”
Vanessa stole the show in a faux-fur black coat, black leather biker boots and an oversized nautical-themed bow in her hair.
Mollie opted for the double-denim-and-black-ankle-boot look, while Rochelle wore a skin-tight navy and white striped skirt, black blazer and bright red lippy.
Una looked ultra-stylish in light-grey skinny jeans and killer heels with the shiniest locks we’ve ever seen!
She posted on Twitter: “Getting the “hair done” for tonights Premiere of Hair the musical!!!”
The Saturdays look gorgeous despite being in the studio all day!
Frankie Sandford, Mollie King, Rochelle Wiseman, Una Healy and Vanessa White head home from recording in London
THE Saturdays managed to look as stunning as ever as they headed home from a day in the studio late night this week.
Despite spending the day working hard on new material, The Saturdays – consisting of Frankie Sandford, Mollie King, Rochelle Wiseman, Vanessa White and Una Healy – were all smiles as they headed home at 11:30pm.
And, as always, the girls looked as stylish as ever, even when they weren’t expecting the paparazzi to show up.
Tweeting after leaving the studio, Vanessa and Rochelle both revealed they were left shaken by hiding photographers.
Vanessa, who looked cute in black jeans, a faux-fur anorak and a pink T-shirt, posted: “LOl never screamed so loud at paps before scared the hell out of me literally jump out of nowhere lol [sic]”
While Rochelle, who wore a cream lace dress and a black leather jacket, said: “How do paps know where you are damn they are good!! [sic]”
Meanwhile, Frankie was clearly lagging for all the hard work, updating her Twitter with: “Soooooo tired…zzzzzzzzzz,” and “Home timeeeeee. Come on car hurry hurry…”
She opted for black leggings, matching PVC riding boots, a black dress and a faded denim shirt, while Mollie chose brown boots, a denim shirt and black leggings.
Una Healy was no where to be seen as they other girls left the building but did spend the day reminiscing with Mollie about the first place they met.
Mollie updated her Twitter earlier in the afternoon with a picture of the two standing in Soho, accompanied by the message: “This is where Una and I met the first time EVER!! Ahh memories!”
However, Chip Diddy Chip confirms he would like to work with The Saturdays…
Chipmunk has confessed that he wants to stop collaborating with other artists because he thinks it’s ‘boring’.
The Oopsy Daisy hitmaker told The Daily Star: “I won’t do any more N-Dubz records. I’ll probably leave all the collaborations now and concentrate on my own thing. It’s all got a bit boring.”
He added: “It’s nice at first. It gives new artists a leg up. But I don’t want people to expect who is gonna be on my next album and for them to actually appear on it.”
The rapper, whose new single Until You Were Gone is in fact a collaboration with Justin Timberlake‘s protégé Esmée Denters did add that if the chance came about, he wouldn’t turn down working with girl band The Saturdays.
The 19-year said: “The Saturdays are pretty girls. I’m gonna be writing for them, giving them beats and verses. They need more edge and I’m on it.”
Don’t worry boys, Saturdays star Frankie Sandford is still young, free and single!
I got to the bottom of rumors that the sexy singer has been shacked up with JLS wee-man Aston Merrygold (pictured top right) by asking the lady herself to spell out the truth.
Not only did she say reports of her “union” with hunky Aston are a load of cobblers, she also told me of her sadness following her split with McFly dish Dougie Poynter (right).
Frankie told me at the Lee Jeans launch party this week: “It’s inevitable that Aston and me do get pictured together because Rochelle is dating Marvin from JLS.
“It’s already happened with all this stuff about us dating – it’s false. It’s crap. And the stuff about me and Calum Best was crap too.
“Calum literally sent me a Tweet and that’s where that story came from.
“He’s a nice guy but I’m not going there… I’m not stupid! I’m just friends with Aston – he’s a nice guy. It can be really annoying if you’re falsely linked to other people.”
Frankie was clearly in the mood to talk and she admitted that she’s yet to get over McFly boy Dougie Poynter after their split last month.
“I didn’t think anyone would care about Dougie and I splitting up,” she revealed. “I was so surprised by the reaction to it. We are staying good friends.
“I know that’s what everyone says but I don’t bulls**t. We need time apart and that’s what we’re doing now. I needed to get away from everything so that’s why I took myself off Twitter and had a holiday.
“It’s hard enough splitting up with someone but when you’re in the public eye it’s so much harder. I had no idea and I’m learning about it. If you split up with your boyfriend, you wouldn’t then see him pictured out with other girls in the paper.
“He’s going to start dating other girls, and I’m fine with it, but I don’t want to see it and learn about it in the papers. It’s going to be hard.”
Frankie, currently in the studio with the rest of the Saturdays recording new material for a repackaged summer version of their album Wordshaker, sounds desperado for a relationship of some kind.
She told me: “I haven’t been out on any dates since we split.
“But I really want to be taken out on a date! I’m not good at the whole dating scene and I just want a boyfriend. But I don’t go out on a date for the sake of it.
“First I need there to be a spark and hint that it might turn into a relationship.”
DANCE duo Mini Viva would love to team up with pals The Saturdays to record a song for charity, they revealed to The Razz.
The Left My Heart In Tokyo pair are still adjusting to fame, but already have a few people on their musical wish list.
Top of the pile is recording a blockbuster collaboration, like the Sugababes and Girls Aloud did with their No.1 Walk This Way three years ago for Comic Relief.
Britt Love, who grew up in Scotland, and her bandmate Frankee Connolly told us: “The Saturdays are cool girls and we went on The Work tour with them last summer. They have come a long way.
“We’d love to collaborate with them for a Comic Relief-type duet, and we have our eye on N-Dubz too.”
The duo were formed by Xenomania, the pop producers who have written for Cher, Kylie and Gabriella Cilmi.
They are currently on tour with dance group Diversity and release new single One Touch on May 10.
On Tuesday night, the girls larked about on the dancefloor at Glasgow’s Milan nightclub with the Britain’s Got Talent winners.
They’re now planning a club tour in the States and are looking forward to their as-yet unnamed album coming out later in the year. Continue reading…
