Mollie is joining up with the British Heart Foundation to ‘Ramp Up The Red’

Mollie explains, “I’m so excited to be supporting the BHF on 7 February by Ramping up the Red and joining the fight against the UK’s single biggest killer, coronary heart disease.

“By organising a Ramp up the Red party with friends, families and colleagues, you will be raising funds that will go directly towards vital research, support and care to help mums, dads, grandparents or babies born with heart problems.

“It’s so easy to organise and you’ll be helping the BHF to continue to fund life-saving heart research in the UK to help everybody who suffers from a heart problem. It is a cause that is particularly important to me, as my grandfather sadly passed away after suffering a heart attack when I was younger.”

 

So on 7th February grab your reds and Ramp Up The Red!!

In other news, Rochelle has tweeted today that the group (finally) are getting back together after the Xmas break – have they had a month off?! Either way hopefully we will get movement on the next single and tour announcement (which I’m personally expecting within the next month or so anyway – alongside a single announcement) shortly.

Una, Mollie, Rochelle, Tour?

Hey all! It’s been hectic at work the last week or so, so haven’t got around to updating the site. Remember to follow us on Twitter @TheSatsCoUk for any breaking news 🙂

The girls are seemingly on their Christmas Break’s now, we don’t expect any major news until the new year now, we might be wrong, but it would be strange for any major news over a holiday period. I know a lot of twitter talk has been about a tour announcement on Xmas Day, it’s possible but most tour venues and e-mail promo shots have now ended until Jan 10th, so it wouldn’t be the greatest time to announce one but you never know.

I was at the WeLovePop Club last weekend, and had a word with Adam, who was very keen to play Not Giving Up, so maybe a early hint? We shall see!

Parker Bridge, Mollie and David reunite

We start off with the news that seems to be dominating this mornings media (slow news day anyone?) that Mollie and David (Gandy) where sitting next to each other at the Tennis Finals at the o2 Arena, London last night. To me whilst being pretty akward for the pair, is a lot to do about nothing, they where obviously guests from some sort of media/agency thing and they kindly made them sit together for a period of time. Anyway a few pictures below of the pair … The Daily Mail has obviously picked the most ‘interesting’ pictures to make it seem a awful lot worse than it probably was, but thats the media for you!

Mollie attends Harper’s Bazaar Awards

Seems our very own Mollie King continues to climb her way into various fashion circles. Last night she attended the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards. Mollie attended the show in an Gucci outfit that has caused a bit of a stir (in various ways) – I’ve added a few pictures below, see what you all think!

Not to be left out, Vanessa attended the Call of Duty: Ghosts launch the other night, I’ve added a picture of the lovely Vanessa below.

Should also add that the Charity walk with Mollie has already jumped £200 since yesterday and the highest bid is now £720! Amazing!

Walk with Mollie, Westfield and more

Firstly we start with the news that our very own Mollie is doing a charity auction with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London. Highest bidders will win a full half hour with their favourite dog loving celebrity, and the walks will take place in the relaxing surroundings of Battersea Park, close to the iconic south London rescue that has cared for 3.1 million dogs and cats.

All money raised is being used by Battersea Dogs & Cats Home who help thousand’s of homeless dogs and cats ever year.

You can bid on the event via the official site, as of time of posting Mollie’s 30min walk is currently standing at £510, so it’s probably out of most of our visitors reach, but I would expect Mollie’s walk to raise close to, or over £1000 🙂

The girls are performing on TV! Yes (I know!) the girls are seemingly set to perform Disco Love on the new series of The Paul O’Grady show, they are on next Monday (11th November) from 5pm. All videos will be on the site after it airs 🙂

Yesterday the girls launched their new Nokia deal. As we reported a while back, you can be in with a chance of seeing The Saturdays in a concert in February next year. There are only 20 winners, and to be in with a chance you must buy a mobile phone from the Carphone Warehouse range, including the Nokia Lumia 520. I know this has caused quite a mixed reaction within the fanbase. I’ve added a few pictures below.

Mollie’s Fashion Future

LOTS of promo regarding this. For those in London, check out the big Oasis store in Covent Garden, apparently there is a huge window display!

Fashion Magazine Grazia met up with Mollie to talk about her fashion range with Oasis.

Mollie has compiled a 45-piece collection, which is an edit of her favourite pieces from the Autumn Winter 2013 collection, including plum leather pencil skirts, oversized tan coats and dreamy pastels. Plus the blonde pop star also stars in the campaign to go alongside her Loved By Mollie edit.

Mollie was giddy about her collection, skipping around the large dining table to talk about her take on this season. She told us that: ‘I went into the Oasis office and there were rails and rails of clothes that I could dive through. It was like every girl’s dream! I picked out my favourite bits, but it was really hard to narrow everything down because obviously I couldn’t pick the whole collection! I wanted a mixture of evening wear and casual pieces.’

Also news that broke yesterday is that Mollie has signed up with model agency ‘Next Models Management’ 

“She started popping up on our radar. We noticed her style and how great she looked. We really like to sign people who already have a style of their own, and who know what they like. Mollie has great things ahead.”

Mollie launches fashion range with Oasis

We begin today with news that Mollie has continued to further branch out into her fashion roots by becoming a ‘fashion ambassador’ for high street chain Oasis.

The new ‘Loved By Mollie‘ AW13 collection is said to be styled on the girl herself featuring her personal fashion loves like oversized coats in on-trend pastels, tapestry prints and leather separates, thanks to her keen love of clothes.

When questioned about her own look, the style savvy star told us that while she was used to having her outfits picked over in the media, it was her family’s fashion advice she always trusted first.

‘My nan has just learned how to use Google News,’ she said. ‘Sometimes she’ll text me to tell me that she liked last night’s outfit, which I love. If my grandparents like it, I know it’s a winner.’

Mollie, who simultaneously announced her new signing to Next model management, celebrated being the first celebrity partner for the high street store, paving the way for an exciting career in the fashion industry.

Going solo for her new fashion project, The Saturdays’ sweetheart said she wasn’t quite ready do a Victoria Beckham just yet, though she hoped to follow in the footsteps of the fashion mogul who created her own style empire after leaving her girl band roots behind.

‘Music will always be my number one and I hope The Saturdays continue for much longer. The girls are all so happy for me,’ she told us.

‘Victoria Beckham is my idol. I was in the same room as her once and I really wanted a photo but I chickened out. I grew up with the Spice Girls – I would die if I thought she’d heard of The Saturdays.’
