It’s all still a bit quiet isn’t it? Here’s a round up of the news over the last few days:

Firstly it seems Alexandra Burke has let it slip that the Rochelle-Marvin wedding is due to take place over this coming weekend. More as details slip out about this little shindig! With a wedding this weekend then The Saturdays due to fly out to the USA in the middle of August will there be enough time for a new single to hit the airwaves before they fly out? Seems the timings might be a little tight but we’ll see what happens!

Mollie has been speaking to OK Magazine about Cyber-Bullies and how much they hurt. So the next time that tempting tweet or message to someone is on your finger-tips then think again before sending it!

Vanessa, Frankie and Mollie (pictured above) attended the Marie Claire September Issue Party – seems a great excuse for a party eh? Where Mollie spoke about the up-coming Rochelle Wedding to The Juice!

Una has been doing her bit for Alpro UK, in an attempt to get the UK public to start eating more plant based products (apparently) of which she did a photoshoot for them (see picture above) and she also did a couple of Twitter Q&A sessions yesterday, of which she replied to the site 🙂 – see below –

I think we all need to start packing for the beach holiday!!!

Mollie dating cricket star?

I know this isn’t really the type of news we usually post but as its pretty quiet right now as everyone is gearing up for the second wedding and the US trip I’ll post it up anyway, take of this what you will!

Mollie King is reportedly dating England cricketer Stuart Broad after getting close on twitter.
The Saturdays singer is set to go on a romantic date with the hunky sportsman after weeks of flirting on social networking site Twitter.

A friend of Stuart told the Daily Star: “Mollie and Stuart have been following each other on twitter for a while.

“They’ve been chatting in private on twitter and have really hit it off.

“Stuart has told close friends he plans to take Mollie out for dinner this Saturday.”

The 26-year-old cricketer is currently in London playing South Africa at The Oval stadium, and wants to make the most of being near to blonde beauty Mollie.

The friend added:”He doesn’t have any strict England curfews. He will be free on Saturday night to go out for a posh dinner with Mollie and enjoy a few drinks.”

Mollie, 25, has been linked to Prince Harry since splitting with male model David Gandy in February, but insists the pair are just friends.

Stuart could be just her type since the ‘Higher’ singer has recently joked about liking men in uniform.

She said: “I’m single. The girls are going to set me up on dates – I hope! Bring me a nice sailor and I’m there!”

Mollie on BBC Radio 1’s ‘Surgery’

Last night our very own @MollieTheSats appeared on Radio1’s Surgery answering questions from your own problems! A few members of TeamSats managed to get through too and she answered your problems, and even DM’ed a few on twitter afterwards.

You can catch the show again on the BBC Radio 1 website but it’s probably UK only so we will get a copy up later (hopefully) for those who live outside the UK and can’t hear it!

Happy 4th July for all our US visitors! 🙂

Here’s a round up of various news stories with The Saturdays, on the whole its quiet again, just snippets of news coming out from Una’s wedding this weekend, as Mollie attends Wimbledon with her sister and Rochelle apparently delays her honeymoon!

We start with news today that Rochelle and Marvin are to delay their honeymoon due to ‘work commitments’, Rochelle told the Daily Mirror:

“We’re going to have a honeymoon at Christmas because we have to fly straight to America to film for our reality show. Marvin and I will go away then instead as the music industry is dead around that time.”

The couple plan to spend their honeymoon in the Maldives, which is where Marvin, 27, popped the question. “It’s very special and fits in nicely!” said Rochelle, who has been dating Marvin since 2010.

I know some reports are suggesting its due to take place during the Olympics that start in a matter of weeks! The JLS tour starts late August which suggests the girls are filming their US documentary in late August/Early September so if a single is to be released before they leave they need to get a wiggle on as it only leaves 6 weeks …

Our blonde bombshell on the other hand is enjoying the single life and paid a visit to Wimbledon yesterday with her sister:

Little details have come from the weekends wedding of Una & Ben due to their exclustivity deal with a certain magazine! We know the couple had a sing along! As we know they do like a sing-along with each other 🙂 I’m sure more details will be coming soon as the magazine gets closer to hitting the shelves!

Also don’t forget the lovely Una will be on our TV screens this week! Let’s Get Gold starts on ITV this Thursday, for 3 nights. We are not sure how to get this on the site right now as its 2 shows of an hour long plus the finale on Saturday which is 90mins long! Mollie spotted with ‘mystery man’

Seems the media have been following the girls around a lot recently with Una’s wedding today!

We spy, with our little eyes, something beginning with a very yummy man. It seems Mollie King may have found herself a new Prince Charming.  What’s more, the mystery man gets the wag of approval from her gorgeous pup, Alfie. Molls has been spotted wandering around London town accompanied by her adorable pooch Alfie and an equally gorgeous young man. Whether he’s just a friend or a new love interest, he certainly seems well trained. What a perfect gent he is carrying Mollie’s bag for her. Hot AND practical – just how we like ’em.

It’s all a bit quiet in the world of The Saturdays isn’t it? We know the girls have been on holiday having a relaxing time – or so Frankie & Mollie have been at least! Vanessa & Rochelle have been in Africa doing their bit for Comic Relief which details are a tad sketchy right now but no doubt information will be forthcoming pretty soon we feel.

Una has obviously been looking after little baby Aoife and Internet rumours are around that she is due to get married to Ben this weekend, nothing concreate just yet so those might just be Internet whispers.

In other random news items, apparently Frankie and warned Mollie of Wayne Bridge’s Mates.

OK Magazine spoke to Mollie at the WTA event who confirmed that there is a new single ‘in a couple of months’ so we might have a little longer to wait!

Mollie also talks about her trademark pout and how it was inspired by Katie Price?! Oh dear Molls …

Mollie attends WTA Pre-Wimbledon Party

We all know that @MollieTheSats loves a bit of tennis, and with Wimbledon starting next week – and probably delaying the UK summer by another 2 weeks – she attended the pre-Wimbledon WTA event. Mollie looked stunning as always, check out some pictures of Mollie below:

Mollie was also pretty talkative according to various news reports that have appeared today.  Apparently she’s enjoying the single life – sorry lads!

‘I’m young, and I’m having fun,’ the 25-year-old told MailOnline at the WTA Pre-Wimbledon Party at The Roof Gardens in Kensington. ‘I’ve only had long term boyfriends,’ she confided, ‘so I only go out with people I really like.’ She also talked about looking after the newest member of The Saturdays, Aoife.

‘I was looking after Aoife on my own, and although I was only looking after her for an hour I felt a bit panicked,’ Mollie told MailOnline. She also spoke of her excitement at Una and Rochelle Wiseman’s upcoming weddings.

Mollie on Britain & Irelands Next Top Model

Seems @MollieTheSats is due to make an appearance on the new series of Britain & Irelands Next Top Model! According to an article in Female First Mollie is set to appear in one of the shows to help with the ‘weekly tasks’ that the potential winning models are set:

“Alongside the guest judges, this year’s series will see a number of fashion favourites offering the girls their guidance for the weekly challenges, including The Saturday’s Mollie King, and fashion blogger and Face of Forever 21 Bip Ling.”

The show starts on Sky Living on July 9th, hopefully we will be told on what show Mollie will be appearing on and we’ll obviously have it up on the site!

Lets hope the new single arrives soon, apart from Vanessa & Rochelle doing their good deed in Africa right now, it seems – musically at least – its gone very quiet over the last couple of weeks hasn’t it?
