Una, Mollie, Globes and more!

Can you keep up with all this news? It’s like story after story! I’m taking a deep breathe and heading in!

Competiton Alert! Check out the link on the right to win a Motel Rocks playsuit as worn by Vanessa and Rochelle! You simply just retweet the tweet we’ve linked to! The more RTs the more chance of winning. Simple as pie!

Firstly the girls performed ‘What About Us’ for the first time on TV last night on Jay Leno. The video will be on the site shortly when I get my HD copy. If you rummage around youtube and the like you will probably find it now, but our copy is coming soon, and hopefully in 1080i HD 🙂 Keep an eye on our Twitter @TheSatsCoUk for when its ready.

We also have the breaking news this morning that Una is a slob! Una has been speaking to WeLovePop (check out some pictures below)

”Now I’m a mum, when I’m at home I have no make up on, sick everywhere and I dress like a slob – it’s just tracksuit bottoms, hoodies and I wear my hair on top of my head. It’s totally different to when I’m at work and getting glammed up by a team of people.”

Mollie has given five suitcases, no not a typo, suitcases of clothes for the Hurricane Sandy victims. Again talking to WeLovePop, Mollie said:

“Everyone took about three or four cases and I took five. I got a huge fine. I gave everything I didn’t wear to the Hurricane Sandy appeal in New York, which meant I could fill the empty cases with new stuff on my return! Everyone wins!”

I’ve added some pictures below of the girls performing at the Golden Globes party and from WeLovePop magazine, we will no doubt have some HQs in the gallery soon 🙂

Mollie fronts National Heart Month

As previously reported Mollie is fronting the British National Heart Month this February, and some pictures have now appeared, Mollie is looking lovely!

She’s the blonde bombshell with a big heart so it’s no surprise to see Mollie King has given her time for a good cause.

The Saturdays singer has signed up as the face of The British Heart Foundation’s latest campaign for National Heart month.

The 25-year-old singer has shown off her sizzling shape in a series of red dresses for a photo shoot to launch the campaign.

The blonde bombshell said she is ‘thrilled’ to be supporting the campaign.

She said: ‘If there is one thing you must do to show your support rock up in red on the first of February I really hope everyone will be joining me in the fight against heart disease. Anything goes as long as it’s red.’

Mollie is asking fans to donate £2 to Rock Up In Red and join the fight against heart disease on 1 February 2013.

Mollie, Mollie, Mollie!

Our blonde bombshell Miss Mollie King seems to be grabbing all the news at present! First we start with Mollie at the Mahiki Club at a launch of a new coconut rum .. yeah maybe you are having the same thoughts as we are. Either way Mollie looks amazing as always, the problem is everyone else who is in attendance, Mollie we love you but maybe go to a few events where its not full of Z-Listers? You are a member of a leading girl group afterall! You can check out Mollie – in shorts, in December (we’ve had light snow in London today!) below!

The next piece of news about Miss King is the whole Prince Harry did she, didn’t she issue. Speaking to Closer magazine it is being reported that Mollie said: “Yes, I have met Harry, and we did go out for a drink,” she revealed. “But a lot of the times I’m linked to men, I haven’t even met them!”

Now call me old school but if she went ‘for a drink’ does that mean they where actually dating? Was it even a date? Was it just a drink between mates? Make your own conclusions!

News Bits: Mollie, All Fired Up Tour, What About Us

Hey all! Sorry for the lack of updates recently as those who follow us on twitter will know I spent the weekend in Sheffield, whilst catching the Steps Christmas show with my girlfriend. Really good fun pop show, would love to see The Saturdays doing a couple of fun filled smaller shows 🙂

Just a brief roundup as it’s looking increasingly likely that December is going to be a barron month with The Saturdays too, although I do hope that we will see the ‘What About Us’ music video shortly as if they are supposedly releasing it in January … unless of course they mean the song will be premiered in January and we will have to wait until Feb/March to get hold of it!

As you are all aware we are proud of all our efforts to help Mollie pick up the Dyslexia Action It’s Me Choice Award, and thanks to ALL your efforts Mollie picked up over 70% of the entire vote and won the award for the Second Year. This week’s flip takes you behind the scenes of the award show. We send out our huge congratulations to Mollie for winning this award again! A true inspirational dyslexic!

Also if you have been following us on twitter, and not living under a rock, it’s that scary time when we look back at a year ago and go ‘where has the time gone?!’ believe it or not it was a YEAR AGO when the All Fired Up Tour kicked off. We went to 4 nights last year, Bournemouth, Liverpool, Brighton and Wembley. Met a whole bunch of people, and had a good time. But seriously its been a year already?! If you have any tour memories drop us a tweet and we’ll RT you!

Talking about ‘What About Us’ and a huge thanks to everyone who e-mailed us about this. The song has actually entered a US chart. What About Us entered at number 44 (don’t giggle its a great start, they are unknown there remember!) in the US Dance/Club Songs. This chart is based on songs played at clubs in the US – the US chart is a bit more modern than the traditional UK based sales charts. Well done girls!

Mollie named face of National Heart Month

Our very own Mollie has been announced to be the Face of National Heart Month in February 2013!

The Saturdays singer Mollie King has been appointed the face of the British Heart Foundation’s National Heart Month for February 2013. National Heart Month kicks off with Rock Up in Red on February 1, where people are encouraged to donate £2 to wear red and support the fight against heart disease.

Speaking about the announcement Mollie comments, ‘I’m thrilled to be supporting the British Heart Foundation this February by Rocking Up In Red and joining the fight against heart disease. It’s a cause very close to my heart, as my grandfather sadly passed away after suffering a heart attack when I was younger.’

Whatever the weather ….

… well its has been bad in the UK over the last few days. Hope those in the South West and the Midlands aren’t too wet!

As for our favourite girl group, it’s all gone a little quiet again after the huge annoucement that was Rochelle’s pregnancy. The couple have been photographed walking around (see below) but thats about as exciting it has got!

The girls played their first UK concert over the weekend since their return to the UK. They played at the roundhouse in London over the weekend for the ‘Rays Of Sunshine’ charity. Unless I’m loosing my eyesight a bit there doesn’t seem to be too much news from it. If I find anything I’ll update this news item 🙂

Una and the terribly adorable Aoife have been making waves in the water too! You can check out some of the adorable pictures below. Aoife is far far too cute – well it can’t be too shocking look at her parents! 🙂

Also this seems to have slipped under the radar, (get it!) anyway the Daily Mail seems to be reporting that Mollie has ‘confirmed’ that she was dating Prince Harry, make of it what you will ….

Mollie King of girl band The Saturdays has finally admitted to dating Prince Harry – after denying it for months.

‘Yes, I’ve met Harry and we did go out,’ says Mollie, 25, who confirmed they dated last summer.

Mollie is now enjoying the single life but adds: ‘I would like a boyfriend in 2013 but only if he is Mr Right. Every girl should wait for the right man.’

The Saturdays have been focusing on breaking into America. At the launch of the SuperTrash store in London last week, Mollie, left, told me: ‘It would be amazing to do a film like Spice World.

A film crew has been following us around as we try to crack the States.’
