Saturdays perform at charity show

The Saturdays have put the sparkle into Christmas with an intimate charity show.

The girl group wore co-ordinated glitzy sequinned mini-dresses to play the Breast Cancer Campaign show at London venue Scala.

Hundreds of lucky fans watched the five-strong band perform at the Concert For A Cure with support from Daisy Dares You and Lauren Pritchard.

The show, supported by Kit Kat Senses, raised £100,000 for the charity.

Mollie King from The Saturdays said: “This is a fantastic event to be involved in. We really hope that we have inspired people to donate money to such an important cause.”

Breast Cancer Awareness month took place in October with Kit Kat Senses donating 10 pence from each special edition pink chocolate bar.

Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in the UK and accounts for nearly one in three of all cancer cases in women.

Nearly 46,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in the UK each year.
