Right, sorry. It’s been a tad quiet around here recently, not too much has been going on, but I have missed some stuff so will bring everything up to speed, or try to at least!
As per the previous post, Frankie moves onto next weeks Strictly from Blackpool, despite being upset with her dance. You can catch the video below (and the Introduction with the rest of the girls!)
Frankie talks up having more children, “It’s definitely something we want to do although right this moment would not be a good time obviously. Lately the thought of three seems really sweet.”
Frankie is also supporting Save The Children’s Christmas 2014 campaign, wear your Christmas Jumper to work on Friday 12th December! More details at Save The Children.
Rochelle’s new Very range seems to be out soon (or now?) and herself and Marvin are also fronting a Pandora appeal too!
I’ve probably missed bits and pieces, but that seems to be the last week summed up. As for new music, rumours are abound that Rochelle is leading a new single from LuvBug in the new year, which might or might not lead onto something more solo for her. Not had anything confirmed to us, just reading what is going around online.
Una has revealed to Hello magazine and she and hubby Ben are expecting a baby boy this time around, plus The Saturdays aren’t splitting up anytime soon …
She told Hello! Magazine: ‘Ben was adamant from the moment we knew we’d conceived again that we were having a boy.
‘I was convinced I was carrying a girl, mainly because this pregnancy is so similar to last time.
‘I was actually a little bit taken aback when we found out we were going to have a son. But now I’m over the moon and can’t wait to meet our little boy.’
She also dismissed rumours The Saturdays are splitting up despite several of the band establishing careers outside the group.
She said: ‘If that was what we wanted, we would be honest about it and say so. ‘We’re always going to be The Saturdays. None of us wants the group to end. So while we’ll go off and do our own things, it will always be in conjunction with what The Saturdays have going on. We’re definitely not splitting up.’
The full interview is in the new issue of Hello! magazine, on sale now.
There was mass speculation last night to Una being pregnant, and seemingly she’s responded to it by announcing that she is indeed expecting a second child with her husband Ben!
Everyone here at The Saturdays Fansite sends out our congratulations to the couple, and of course Aoife Belle who will have a new brother or sister!
OK Magazine caught up with the girls at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards the other day. Where Rochelle talks about baby number two … Rochelle said:
“We (her and Marvin) are definitely going to go for number two, but I’m definitely enjoying being not pregnant for a while.”
In other news the girls will be filming their new music video shortly, so we should finally have some new music in the coming month (or so) the girls are also playing their first summer date in just under a couple of weeks too.
It’s back to our second favourite day of the week – Friday! Nearly the weekend, and maybe some nice news in the mailer .. or maybe not? Either way I would love to bring you all the news you’ve been waiting for be it the tour, or the premiere of ‘Bigger’ which still hasn’t happened (yet, wasn’t it supposed to be this week?), or promo news or anything – it’s just a little quiet, maybe the quiet before the storm?
Either why Frankie has been out and about enjoying the sunny weather with Parker yesterday, the dailymail kindly take to saying that she is ‘overdressed’ – I mean seriously, its sunny here this morning but it was also 4c in the shade, I’m not getting the shorts out thank you DM!
We start off with the news that seems to be dominating this mornings media (slow news day anyone?) that Mollie and David (Gandy) where sitting next to each other at the Tennis Finals at the o2 Arena, London last night. To me whilst being pretty akward for the pair, is a lot to do about nothing, they where obviously guests from some sort of media/agency thing and they kindly made them sit together for a period of time. Anyway a few pictures below of the pair … The Daily Mail has obviously picked the most ‘interesting’ pictures to make it seem a awful lot worse than it probably was, but thats the media for you!
Obviously the other piece of news is that on yesterday’s Paul O’Grady show a picture of Parker Bridge was shown, this was also instagrammed by Frankie, which I’ve added below too 🙂 Remember you can catch the Saxy performance of Disco Love from Paul O’Grady below, plus the acoustic performance of Anywhere With You.
Seems drama unfolded yesterday afternoon as an Interview with Hello Magazine Mollie let slip that the girls where very happy “to meet him” which in term prompted Frankie to head to social networking to confirm the news!
The girls seem to be on holiday again, apparently Mollie has already left the country and has been (unconfirmed I think so far) to be back in the USA, and Rochelle tweeted last night about a holiday, so not bad work this popstar life is it?
