This is the moment that beaming JLS heart throb Marvin Humes married Saturdays beautyRochelle Wiseman – in the showbiz wedding of the year.

Their much talked about wedding took place at Oxfordshire’s grand and historic Blenheim Palace and HELLO! was the only publication invited to the star-studded ceremony and reception.

As a special surprise for the newlyweds, guests including Olly Murs, Alexandra Burke and Marvin and Rochelle’s band mates took to the stage to perform some of the couple’s favourite songs.

The JLS boys and The Saturdays girls joined the 400 guests for the wedding which had a classy ‘black and white’ dress code.

Celebrities at the fairytale affair on Friday, July 27 included Tulisa Contostavlos, Pixie Lott, Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan from One Direction, rapper Chipmunk and Blue’s Simon Webbe.

They all partied until 2.30am in a specially erected marquee that had been transformed into a glittering nightclub.

In a world exclusive interview Marvin, 27, relives the moment he first set eyes on his 23-year-old bride in her stunning Vera Wang gown as she walked up the aisle.

“When the music started up and I knew Rochelle had arrived, I was desperate to turn around and look at her. We hadn’t spoken all day and had spent the previous night apart. I’d missed her and I couldn’t wait to see her.

“But so many people had said to me that I shouldn’t turn around – that it was unlucky.

“Then, when I looked to my left and she was there, oh man, she looked unbelievable; more beautiful than I’ve ever seen her look. Her face, her smile, the dress, everything … She was absolutely stunning,” he tells HELLO!

Rochelle, who was given away by football legend Paul Ince, whom she calls her ‘uncle’ in the absence of her natural dad with whom she’s had little contact, changed for the evening’s celebrations into a short Oscar de la Renta design.

And whilst the bride had two dresses, Marvin reveals how he had opted to have two rings – a plain platinum band and a “blinged up” diamond baguette for special occasions.

Rochelle said she was overcome with emotions on her big day telling HELLO!:

“It just hit me, what we were saying to each other. It was all so overwhelming, I couldn’t stop myself from crying.

“I looked at Marvin and his eyes were glassy. I kept thinking he might go too, but he held it down.”

Styled To Rock!

You might remember a few months ago our girls where captured filming for a ‘fashion show’ well it seems the said show has now been named!

Cheryl Cole is set to make her television comeback in a new fashion show produced by Rihanna. 

The 29-year-old beauty and singer Katy Perry are among those who will guest star in new series Styled To Rock, which is billed as a search for the next big design star. 

Miss Cole’s Girls Aloud band mate Nicola Roberts is a mentor on the Sky Living show, along with British designer Henry Holland and stylist Lysa Cooper.

But Miss Cole is among the music stars to appear as a guest judge setting the aspiring hopefuls a creative task before selecting who is best. 
The Scissor Sisters, The Saturdays, Pixie Lott, Rizzle Kicks, Tinchy Stryder, Little Mix, Katy B, and Little Boots, are among the others appearing as guest judges. 

Twelve hopefuls, selected by Rihanna, will compete to win the series and get a chance to design a unique stage outfit for her London concert. 

Each guest artist will set a challenge for the contestants to create outfits they can wear at a variety of important occasions, including a multitude of live performances, shoots and high-profile events.  

A spokesman said: ‘There’s no room for mistakes – these are very real briefs – no musical artist wants a fashion disaster on their hands in front of merciless photographers and harsh fashion critics. 

‘Styled To Rock will celebrate the extraordinary talent and creativity in the British fashion scene, and search for the next generation of Britain’s most promising fashion designers.’

Rihanna is executive producer on the programme and will appear throughout the series to give advice and critique the work. 

She chose Miss Roberts, who is often seen on the front row at shows at London Fashion Week, to appear on the show because of their mutual love of clothes.

Styled to Rock will begin on Sky Living on August 14th at 9pm.

Vanessa Birthday Book 2012

As you know we had a huge success with Mollie’s official 2012 birthday book which ended up with ourselves – @thesatscouk, @marvelousmollie and @claireteamsats presenting the book to Mollie in person at Birmingham Pride. We are therefore more than delighted to help spread the word about Vanessa’s birthday book and everyone involved with that. Excited? Well of course you are so here is how you can get involved!! This is a huge project being undertaken and there are many ways for you to be involved, so please read it carefully and if you have any questions please direct them to the wonderful people involved with this project as they are better placed to answer them then we are!

EVERYTHING SHOULD BE SENT TO [email protected]. The deadline is September 1st.

‘THE FAN MESSAGES PROJECT’
As usual, we’re looking for as many messages from fans as possible. Messages, poems, graphics, pictures are all welcome.  I’m hoping to hand make a lot of this book in order for it to be even more personalised and unique, so each page will be totally different from the last.
Due to this, I’m hoping to hand write a lot of your messages (in various fonts.. ;P) and print out any pictures/graphics etc you may send with it and stick them on your page also.  If, however, you wish for your page to all be typed, or you want to incorporate your message into a graphic or such, then that’s fine also, just make sure to let us know when you email it. 🙂

‘THE DRAWINGS PROJECT’
Any drawings you may have done over the years of Vanessa are welcome to make up the fan drawings section.  (Send these in with DRAWINGS as the subject in the email.)

‘THE TOUR PICTURES PROJECT’
Send in your favourite tour pictures from any 3 of the tours! We want your funny, cute and gorgeous ones! (Send these in with TOUR PHOTOS as the subject in the email).

‘THE TWEETS PROJECT’
Vanessa’s tweets which made you laugh (if you have any screencaps, they’d be fab!). They can be just her random tweets, her twapes, or anything else that made you smile/laugh.  (Send these in with TWEETS as the subject in the email.)

‘THE QUOTES PROJECT’
Your favourite Vanessa quotes, they can be from flips or 24/7 or What Goes On Tour or anything else you can think of.  (Send these in with QUOTES as the subject of the email.)

‘THE BEACH PROJECT’
On one of the pages we want to write “Happy Birthday Vanessa!” out of letters on the beach. This could be made out of pebbles/shells, or drawn in the sand.

ALL LETTERS ARE NOW TAKEN.
However, if you currently have a letter but realise at any point that you won’t be able to get to a beach after all, please let us know so someone else can have your letter!

For those with a letter:
All letters should be capitalised. When you’re done, take a photo (with JUST the letter in the picture) and send it in with ‘THE BEACH PROJECT’ as the subject in the email.

‘THE MEET TEAM SATS PROJECT’
We’re going to do a ‘MEET TEAM SATS’ section. Its basically going to be able to put faces to names…

What you need to do is email us a picture of yourself (not necessarily sats related but you’re obviously welcome to anything you want- a pic that you like) and with your picture send in a brief paragraph making sure you include all of this information

Then we’ll put it all into a factfile type thing and it will just help Vanessa get to know you abit more- she’ll know who the people who are supporting her are 🙂

At some point, i’ll be making an example page so if you’re a bit confused or unsure of the idea, dont hesitate to ask for the example on here or on my personal @hannanar 🙂  Send with ‘MEET TEAM SATS’ as the subject title for the email.
‘THE TEAM SATS’ DOGS PROJECT’
Okay, this one is fairly simple but we want as many of you as possible to get involved, it doesn’t take too much effort!
Basically, if you have a dog, we want you to take a picture of him/her with a sign that simply says ‘Happy Birthday Vanessa!’

We’re going to create a little Team Sats’ dogs page because we all know Ness loves her dogs! So this is a kind of example to what we want to see, but obviously with a sign that says ‘Happy Birthday Vanessa’ instead. 🙂 Email all of your doggy pictures (along with your twitter name) with the subject ‘Team Sats’ Dogs’ in the email.

‘THE OUT-AND-ABOUT PROJECT’
We want to make a small collage of words that make up certain song lyrics that describe Vanessa. Previously some of you may have been involved with various lyric videos for The Sats, where you hold a sign with a word on it. This is, in effect, what we’re trying to create here, but even better. We want you to actually find the words while you’re out and about. Whether it be on big bus stop posters, shop adverts, on a card in a card shop, or even on various packets.

We want this project to be fun for YOU too, and maybe a little bit challenging!

The lyrics we want to try make out are:

“Vanessa, our love for you is stronger than love itself.”

“You drain us of sadness, and fill us back up with love.”

“You’re like this beat yes, crazy and infectious.”

These are the only words still available:

If you find a word we need WITHIN another word, or the wanted word has ‘ed’/’s’ etc on it, just cover it up with your hands. 😉

WE WANT YOU IN THE PICTURE TOO! It’s no use without you, we could’ve got them off google. 😛 So we want pictures of you at bus stops, in front of adverts etc etc.

We REALLY REALLY hope you get involved with this one. It is quite a demanding project, but it’s one of the more fun ones and most creative.
We just want you all to have a good crack at it, don’t give up before you’ve even tried!
You’ll be surprised with how much fun you could have with this!

There’s only really one other rule to this; NO HAND WRITING/TYPING YOUR WORD. The whole point is to find it.
If you’re really struggling to find a word, you can always grab a newspaper or a book and highlight the word in there and take a picture with it. 🙂

Any pictures of the words you take can be emailed with ‘Out-And-About Words Project’ as the email subject.

‘THE ‘I LOVE YOU BECAUSE..’ PROJECT’
So what we want you to do is take a picture of yourself with a sign saying ‘I love you because…’ followed by a reason.
This could be something like ‘You’re piff’ or ‘you inspire me’; anything you want! However, we want these to be as original as possible to avoid any repeats!

But please don’t make it too long as we need to be able to read it on the piece of paper it’s put on!  Make it bold, fancy writing, jazz it up if you want!

This should be quite an easy project that many people can get involved in.

Surprise Surprise!

To answer questions we’ve had …

– There is NO age limit (fans can be of any age)
– When you contact ITV they will contact you back with ADDITIONAL information about your nomination, the procedure and if you have any questions about your nomination (or if they have any) they can contact you etc.
– The nominees (e.g. you, if you are nominating say your sister) need to explain WHY the person they are nominating deserves the surprise. Be it doing a lot of work in the community, helping others etc. This isn’t a ‘voting’ system. The decisions on who should be surprised lie with the production team at ITV. It doesn’t matter if someone gets 10000 nominations or just a single one. It’s not a popularity contest, decisions are made by the production team.
– The show is still in PRE-PRODUCTION e.g. stuff has still not been finalised. Anything can change at any time.
– Please note that your application will include the name, age, address and picture of the person you are nominating. So someone you barely know online cannot be nominated unless they are willing to supply you personal information, in that case its not really a ‘surprise’ is it?

Not too sure our younger visitors will remember this TV show, but ITV are bringing back the TV show Surprise! Surprise! and they are looking out for fans of The Saturdays! The new show is set to be hosted by Holly Willoughby, We’ve been sent the following, this is the press-release from ITV:

We are looking for the UK’s biggest fans. Nominate any super fans of bands that you know of and be in on the surprise. No idea is too big for us and no one is off limits. When thinking of ideas the bigger the better… Do you want One Direction to come over for dinner? What about a trip on the London Eye with a personal concert from Justin Bieber? Want to go shopping with The Saturdays. We have some of the biggest names on board and looking for the fans to give the surprise of a lifetime, whatever you can dream we can do.

We are offering super fans around the country these incredible once in a life time opportunities. Please make sure that you give an amazing reason on why you are nominating them and why you think they are worthy. Do they help out in the community? Mollie in Women’s Health Magazine

Our very own Mollie is telling all about how she keeps so fit and healthy in this months Women’s Health Magazine – out 1st August.

As one fifth of pop group The Saturdays, Mollie King has earned herself a reputation as something of a pop princess.

But in a sexy new shoot, the 25-year-old singer has decided to ditch her sweet and innocent appearance for a sexy new look.

Mollie is seen showing off her toned figure in a series of black outfits for the new issue of Women’s Health magazine.

In one shot, the pretty blonde star sports a flowing black dress, but hardens the outfit up with heeled boots and fingerless gloves.

And in another, Mollie shows off her enviably toned legs in a tiny pair of hotpants teamed with a cropped top.

In all the pictures, Mollie is seen with slicked back hair and heavily kohled eyes – a sharp contrast to her usual appearance.

Mollie’s shoot for Women’s Health came as she revealed her fitness secrets to the magazine, insisting that despite her apparently flawless figure, she still finds herself feeling self-conscious when it comes to stripping off.

She said: ‘I’m very self conscious in a bikini and I would never get my tummy out onstage. If I were to choose a part of each of The Saturdays’ bodies to make up the perfect woman, I would take Una’s eyes, Rochelle’s boobs, Frankie’s tummy and Vanessa’s bum. Then my legs – if we have to!’

Mollie added that when it comes to food, she sticks to a relatively healthy diet until it comes to ordering food in.

She said: ‘I eat pretty healthily most of the time but I love takeaways, because I can’t cook, and often eat until I feel sick.’

Mollie added of how she stays slim: ‘I don’t drink and have never been drunk, ever.

‘At some point, I do need to be able to say, “Oh, I know what that hangover feels like, but I haven’t had one yet.” ‘

While Mollie has recently been romantically linked to famous faces including Prince Harry, she said in the interview with Women’s Health that she is still looking for her perfect man.

She said: ‘I love the band; they’re my life. But in ten years time I also hope to have a family. I’m such a girl and already have my baby names planned. Now I just need to find a good man.’

Rochelle & Marvin’s Wedding – in Hello – Part 1!

The second moment that everyone has been waiting for has now hit the shops! The wedding of our Rochelle to JLS’ Marvin has all been revealed in this weeks Hello! Magazine which is now out in the shops to buy! So make sure you go pick up a copy! It is priced £2! Taken from the Hello website:

Last Friday was not only the special day for the dazzling London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony.

Some 70 miles north of London’s Stratford district, at Oxfordshire’s grand stately home Blenheim Palace, pop princess Rochelle Wiseman of hit girlband The Saturdays married JLS star Marvin Humes in a fairytale ceremony and HELLO! was there to capture every magical moment.

Months of secret planning had gone into ensuring all the intricate details of the celebrations remained a surprise for all but the closest of the 250 family members and friends who joined the couple during the day and the further 150 glamorous guests who arrived for the fun-packed evening festivities.

Among the famous faces to attend the stylish black-tie wedding were The X Factor‘s Tulisa Contostavlos, singers Olly Murs, Pixie Lott, Alexandra Burke and Diana Vickers, DJ Reggie Yates.

Also wishing the couple well were Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts, Blue star Simon Webbe, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan of boyband One Direction and rappers Chipmunk and Wretch 32.

The gorgeous bride and groom – who got engaged on New Year’s Eve while in the Maldives, where Marvin presented Rochelle with a heart-shaped diamond ring – had been adamant that their nuptials should reflect their personalities.

“One of the things I love most about Marvin is that he is so traditional, because so am I,” Rochelle, 23, told HELLO!, when we caught up with her “backstage” at Blenheim on the morning of the wedding.

Rochelle told HELLO! that the moment Marvin popped the question, she knew there was only one place she would be heading to buy her wedding dress.

 “It had to be Vera Wang. Marvin proposed two days into a ten-day holiday and I was itching to get back so I could go and find my dress. To me, Vera Wang’s designs are the ultimate. I knew I’d find my dream dress in her collection and I did.”

Speaking of her bridesmaids, who included her fellow The Saturdays band members Una Healy, Mollie King, Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White,  Rochelle revealed:

“I feel so close to these girls. We’ve been on such a high – I’m so lucky to have them in my life.”

Across the glorious courtyards of Blenheim, husband-to-be Marvin and his groomsmen were getting ready.

Like Rochelle, they revealed to HELLO!, there was a story regarding the undergarments they wore beneath their wedding attire.

“We’ve had monogrammed boxer shorts made with my and Rochelle’s ‘R&M’ logo on,” confided Marvin, 27.

Marvin’s party consisted of 11 friends including his JLS bandmates Aston Merrygold, Jonathan “JB” Gill and Oritsé Williams.

“All my groomsmen are very special to me and I know they’re looking out for me today and want me and Rochelle to have the best day ever,” said Marvin.

A string quartet was playing as guests took their seats in an elegant room filled with fragrance, courtesy of the arrangements of cream roses and summer foliage from celebrity florist Rob Van Helden, a favourite with stars such as Sir Elton John.

Meanwhile, the beautiful bride was putting the finishing touches to her outfit, with her matron of honour Laura adjusting the full-length veil that trailed so beautifully behind her stunning designer dress.

“I feel so blessed to have Rochelle in my life. She is such a gorgeous person, inside and out, but I have never seen her look more beautiful or serene than she does today,” Laura told us.

Dyslexia Action – It’s Me Choice Awards 2012!

Hey TeamSats its that time of the year again! Remember last year everyone got together and voted Mollie as an inspirational person who has dyslexia, well that time of the year has rolled around again! The organising people have said that previous winners can be nominated again! So you know what that means, it’s time to get voting!

Voting is a little different this year, last year seemed to turn into a spam-a-thon on twitter, so this year it seems you are only able to vote in two ways, you can vote via their website and via their facebook pages

So if you see Mollie as an inspirational dyslexic person then get voting. Remember you can vote more than once, so keep on voting! 🙂

Today’s The Day!

Today saw the day of round two of The Saturdays weddings as the lovely Rochelle and Marvin (From JLS, if you don’t know!) have got married in a lavish ceremony in London. Little news of the wedding is around so far, the couple have an exclusive with Hello magazine (?) so details will appear as the paps try their best to get shots etc. Either way we wish the couple all the best today!

To top of the rumours, the Evening Standard are claiming that The Saturdays are due to be involved in the Opening Ceremony at the Olympics tonight …..

There has been speculation that Arctic Monkeys and The Saturdays will be among those joining Sir Paul McCartney on the bill after members of both groups apparently tweeted images of themselves at rehearsals.
