Sorry for the delay in getting this online, here is Episode 8 of Sweat The Small Stuff, this time featuring Una! The usual warning applies, this is a BBC Three show that airs at 10pm so those of a younger age or sensitive nature might not want to watch the program.
Hey all! Hope you are all doing great and well, and that you have summer! (If you are in the Northern part of the world anyway!) Just don’t ask us in the UK about summer …
It’s all gone a little quiet again, as the girls, rest(?), and get ready for the big Gentleman promo push, hopefully the TV information will start filtering in shortly and we will update you on that accordingly.
As you are probably aware, Rochelle has returned to the group now, so hopefully she will do some TV promo/performances with the rest of the girls as they release Gentleman in under two weeks now! To kick off promo Mollie is on BBC Radio 1 this weekend, doing another Surgery session, almost excatly a year later than her last, she must book these things in advance, so make sure you tune in to that!
Rochelle and Marvin (and THAT buggy) have also been out and about, not sure why the paps decide to take photographs of a family walking around is beyond me, but I’ve added a couple of the pictures below, the couple also enjoyed a night out! I know its hardly breaking/exciting news, but everything will kick up a few gears soon … 🙂
If you needed an excuse to pre-order the Gentleman CD or via iTunes you now have it. Not a fan of Gentleman, then THIS will convince you to pre-order!
The b-side that is available on the CD or via pre-ordering via iTunes can now be heard above. Wildfire is written by The Saturdays and The Alias and produced by The Alias (Not That Kinda Girl, Lady Killer, Move On U).
Remember this is ONLY available if you pre-order Gentleman via iTunes or buy the signed CD, links on the right! Tell us what you think of the song via @TheSatsCoUk on Twitter or on facebook.
The time has arrived! For those who missed out on Chasing The Saturdays when it was on E! you can now watch it on normal terrestrial TV! The show is premiering tonight on 4Music at 9pm with a double episode!! 4Music can be seen on Freeview channel 18, Sky channel 360 and VirginMedia channel 330.
Happy Wednesday to you all! It’s the peak of the working week, the weekend is just around the corner! Our gallery was updated last night with lots of new pictures from recent events with the girls, make sure you pop over and take a look 🙂
We start up with Frankie, who has been speaking to Look Magazine:
Yep, the 24-year-old may have made her performance with her The Saturdays bandmates in front of the 80,000 strong crowd look easy, but she’s admitted there’s something else that’s got her feeling shaky – giving birth!
“I think it did really hit me when I went in to see Rochelle when she’d just had Alaia,” Frankie told LOOK. “I was like OK there’s actually a baby at the end of this so that was weird. No, it’s exciting too…”
But the Gentleman singer, who got engaged to boyfriend Wayne Bridge, 32, in April, has got pal Una, 31, to help her out – as she’s already been coaching new mum Rochelle, “I’ve been giving her loads of tips,” she said.
Gentleman isn’t released for another few weeks yet, but the girls have been speaking about how there is no pressure about it getting to the top .. seems a tad negative to me, but Mollie has said:
“We’re not really feeling the pressure with the new single,” Mollie King told Digital Spy. “It’s more excitement. We’ve had that number one which we wanted so much and now we just hope our music continues to do well.
“Coming off the back of a number one is always going to be tricky, but we all love the song and everyone really seems to be getting behind it. That’s the most important thing.”
Teasing news of their forthcoming album, Frankie Sandford said: “[It’s] pretty much done. We think it’s going to be out towards the end of the year. We really can’t wait for everyone to hear it.
“We’ve worked with some amazing producers and we’re excited to see what the fans think of it.”
Happy Tuesday all! Hope you are having or had a good day! Today we start with the news that Una is fronting a new TV show on Irish TV.
Uns is set to present a new TV show called ‘Una’s Dream Ticket’, a programme that grants wishes to youths around the country.
Una said; “I am so excited to have been offered this amazing opportunity and can’t wait to return to Ireland to film it.”
Tyrone Productions will produce the show and are calling on kids aged 16 or under to apply to be part of the series. For more information, email [email protected] The closing date of applications is July 19.
Apparently the girls want to create ‘The Little Saturdays’ in that case we all hope that Frankie’s forthcoming child is a little girl.
Mollie said: ”If they are all girls then maybe they could form a girl band.”
Frankie joked: ”I always say it’s like our pension, The Little Saturdays. But it’s up to them whether they want to become pop stars. The choice was up to us so it should be the same.”
There should be a gallery update coming to the site this evening, keep an eye on our twitter @TheSatsCoUk for the latest on that
As there seems to be some demand for this on Twitter, here are my videos of the girls performing at the Summertime Ball. These where recorded by me, so please don’t use them elsewhere, or download them and put them on your own sites etc. Feel free to embed them or just share via youtube 🙂
