No Tour … yet! Announcement ‘soon’.
As you are probably like the rest of us, waiting Tour News, apparently it will be happening but not yet …
Rochelle was at BBC Radio 1 this morning and the tour was brought up:
Rochelle Humes has confirmed that The Saturdays are waiting for Frankie Sandford to return from maternity leave before going on their next tour.
“She would absolutely kill us if we went on tour without her,” she said.
“It’s her favourite thing to do so we’ll all be there together. It’ll be the five of us back in force together on tour.”
The singer confirmed that plans were in place and the band would be announcing dates “very soon”.
Sandford is expecting her first baby with her fiance, the footballer Wayne Bridge.
Humes recently returned to the group after having her first baby, a daughter named Alaia-Mai.
Her husband Marvin Humes, who found fame on The X Factor with JLS, has announced that he will be co-presenting BBC One talent show The Voice.
“I think he’s still very much an X Factor man,” said Rochelle Humes.
“I think it’s just a different career change for him as a presenting role. It came up at a good time.
“He actually spoke to Simon Cowell and the team and told them he was going to do it before he took the job, so all is cool there. It’s just an exciting new job for him.”
Humes also said they would both be returning to host ITV’s This Morning.
“It’s funny because I’m doing a little more presenting and more TV,” she said. “But I’ve actually always done it.
“I did that before The Saturdays so it’s come up as things have got better with us. I’ve just said yes to stuff and we all like to try things on our own now and again.”
Their fourth studio album, Living For the Weekend, was released on 14 October.
“When we’ve been credited we’ve really been involved in the writing and I think that’s important,” she said.
“We’re excited that it’s out now.”
