Heads Up! The Saturdays are performing another summer show. Alongside their two own concerts in Kent and Yorkshire the girls are also hitting Merseyside for the JuiceFM Party at the Pier.
The girls are the headline act of the event that takes place at Pier Head, Liverpool on Sunday 25th August! The girls are performing alongsideLucy Spraggan, Texas and Nina Nesbitt. Tickets only cost £5 and are available here

We start today with more on THAT interview that Mollie has done with Hello Magazine, from the Interview we also learn that Mollie is going to write a book for teenagers … apparently its in the early stages but she is sure it is going to happen.
I’m sure we are all happy that Mollie is doing something else, but should fans start to get worried? Mollie writing books, Una doing more TV presenting, Rochelle and Frankie gave it a go on Sweat The Small Stuff, it’s like the girls are branching out .. I’m sure its nothing but it gives you something to think about whilst the girls are on holiday!
I’ve mentioned it before, and I will mention it again! The girls are playing a few headlining shows next month, the first in Kent in just a months time! The girls are playing the Glow, which is a venue next door to the huge Bluewater Shopping Centre, and the venue is so awesome that even those in the seats in Block G at the rear of the venue are ONLY 50m from the stage – how awesome is that? So seriously head over to ticketmaster and nab yourself a ticket! Be one of only 2,700 fans to catch the girls in a rare headlining show this year!
I mean we are going too, so you might even bump into us down there – now if that’s not a reason to come (If The Saturdays weren’t a big enough draw anyway!) then surely its time to grab a ticket before they all go! 😉

It’s amazing isn’t it? The UK finally has summer-type weather and our girls made the most of it yesterday as they performed (in what must have been swealting) temperatures at London’s Hyde Park as part of the Summer Music Festival that is taking place there over the next week or so.
I’ve added a few pictures of our girls looking hot (literally!) below, hopefully more will appear and I shall add them to our gallery.

As you have read Gentleman did chart at number 14 yesterday, I know there is a level of dispointment from everyone involved, but it has given the girls their 14th Top 20 single, they’ve also confirmed that another single is due out before the album, which if that includes 30 Days, will mean 4 singles before the album (Just hope the album has more than 12 songs!), we can all point the finger to where it we thought it went ‘wrong’ but we need to remain positive and look at the future, first up the girls have a couple of headlining concerts next month in Kent and North Yorkshire, so make sure you grab your tickets!! Plus they are obviously on the main stage at the V-Festival inbetween those shows too!

Just a quick mention that Gentleman charted today at number 14. It gives the girls their 14th UK Top 20 single, only Work (the infamous 5th single syndrome) failed to enter the Top 20 (and only just in that!) so Congrats to the girls for their chart achievement 🙂
Last night I (and several others) headed down to the Bells of Shoreditch club in East London to see Mollie spin her favourite 90s music! It was a great evening, full of those classic 90s music that we all love (or hate, but dance to anyway!) The evening started with Aaron (yes their dancer, S Club Junior!) spinning his tunes, then at around 11pm (late as always!) Mollie started her set, playing 90s classics from S Club 7, Shakira, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC and of course Britney Spears! Check out this video that I recorded below of Mollie dancing and singing along to that Britney classic, (You Drive Me) Crazy! Sorry for all those expecting a picture of me to be papped, I was missed this time, but Rosie did get caught (but I’m told to keep this off the site – sorry!)

Firstly the important news, Gentleman has been revealed in the midweek chart update from Radio 1 to be at number 8. We have another Top 10 single on our hands, and is roughly where I personally thought it would chart. The concern is that we are slipping on iTunes, so we need to get the sales up. I’m sure you have bought the EP from iTunes so please go and pick up a couple of remixes, or the remix EP and help the girls maintain their Top 10! We don’t need the follow up to a number one single not reaching the Top 10 now do we?
Also today Mollie and Vanessa appeared on the ITV1 show ‘Lets Do Lunch’ you can catch the video below:

The Saturdays have just taken part in their second Google Hangout, this time it was a tad shorter than the last one, you can relive the hangout here:
Hey all! We are now at Tuesday which means that we might get an unofficial chart update later this morning to how well Gentleman is performing. We snuck into the iTunes Top 10 last night, but have fallen out of it (just) this morning, we seem to be locked into a battle with those The Wanted boys over who wants number 10 on iTunes!
The girls hit MTV and Chart Show TV yesterday for a bit more promo – still wish the girls would do a major UK channel for promo to get the higher viewers – but this is better than nothing (surely?) and they are doing one of these Google Hangouts again today at 4pm for whom it interests.
I know a few people are all going ‘It’s another My Heart Takes Over’ well it surely won’t be THAT bad, I mean Gentleman is still Top 11 on iTunes and only just behind The Wanted, so adding in physical sales should see them go above them. It’s just a case of them (hopefully) maintaining this level of sales throughout the week.
I know its all a little underwhelming after the highs of What About Us, the 115,000 odd sales and a number one, but we need to take the rough with the smooth!
