SOME women get all the luck.

Saturdays star Frankie Sandford had her very own Pretty Woman moment when boyfriend Wayne Bridge treated her to a three-hour shopping spree at Harvey Nichols.

The Manchester City footballer, 30, arranged for the posh store to stay open late so Frankie could have an exclusive pick of the designer clothes.

Wayne even gave the jammy 22-year-old babe free rein on his credit card at the store’s branch in Manchester.

Deep-pocketed Wayne’s gesture echoes a scene in the 1990 movie Pretty Woman, in which Richard Gere let Julia Roberts loose on all the posh shops in Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles.

Following her splurge, Frankie Tweeted: “Had the most amazing night last night! I felt like pretty woman… without the prostitution! Lol”

We’re told: “Wayne loves treating Frankie. He often cooks her dinner or turns up to meet her with gifts.”

It’s all right for some. Better than petrol station flowers any day.

The Saturdays confirm new UK tour

The Saturdays have announced plans for their next UK tour.

The group, who are currently in the middle of a 17-date sold out jaunt, told fans during their gig at London’s Hammersmith Apollo that they will hit the road again in December this year.

“Tonight we’re very excited to announce some special news,” Frankie Sandford told the audience. “Following the success of the ‘Headlines!’ tour, we’ll be touring the UK again this December.

“We’re going to announce the dates very soon, so make sure to look out for them. Are you all going to come?”

The band also revealed that they are currently working on their next studio album, which is due for release later this year.

We’ve had a few requests from other sites to help them out with their tour projects, of which we are glad to assist with 🙂

Our new elite affiliates at MollieKingDaily are doing a tour project for Mollie, if you are a huge Mollie fan please pop over to their site and catch the details. Their project closes on 1st February 🙂

Firstly, again, happy birthday to @FrankieTheSats 🙂

Secondly a boring type of post to bring everyone up to date on what is going on around here. As some of you might have noticed we are having a 2011 clean. The side bar to the right has been rejigged a bit – and a few more rejigging will occur throughout this weekend, hopefully making your experience a little bit better 🙂

Secondly we are re-jigging the site around. The About Us section has already seen a facelift, we are also actively seeking sites who want to be linked back to us. These can be small personal blog sites or tumblr accounts that people work hard on 🙂 We are (also) accepting Elite affiliates. If you need convincing we are the highest ranked Saturdays fansite on Google UK Search, we’ve been online since March 2008, and as you know we run competitions in association with the group, their record label and their management. The site has been lacking links to other sites that work as hard as we do, so this is something I am putting right now 🙂 If you are interested in sharing a link, or top affiliates check the link on the right hand side, or drop us an e-mail on [email protected] and we can discuss it further 🙂

I run another site and the fighting between sites is something I hate, we are all online and are all sharing the common purpose of promoting the group, we need to be together in supporting the group, not fighting against each other, remember its all #teamsats 🙂

We will also be launching updated sections over the coming week, I’ll keep everyone updated on these and and when they are ready 🙂

[Updated] Did Frankie and Dougie split up as well?

According to an early post by The Sun, Frankie has ‘dumped’ Dougie because he liked ‘mucking about with his mates’ and Frankie ‘preferred going to West End Clubs’. It’s not got any sources to back this up on, so we’ll keep an eye out on the girls’ Twitter and so. We sure hope this is just a false rumour because there’s been far too many break ups already!

Metro.co.uk has made an article as well now, which has some ‘sources’ (friends) confirming the split. You can read it below, but I still hope it’s just a rumour as none of the girls have confirmed it, and they are usually pretty open about it!

The pair looked a picture of happiness on Friday night during Children In Need, as they cheered on their bandmates competing in a Strictly Come Dancing special.

However, Metro can reveal the segment was recorded weeks ago and Poynter has in fact been in pieces after Sandford, 21, suddenly ended their 18-month relationship last week.

A friend of the 22-year-old Party Girl singer said: ‘Dougie is devastated. He didn’t see it coming at all and still doesn’t know why. They were planning to settle down and were actually house hunting. It’s the second time Frankie has done this after she dumped him in February but came back in tears and said she made a mistake.’

Another friend of Poynter said: ‘Frankie always seems to be out partying, playing the celeb scene. The McFly lads don’t really do that.’

Meanwhile, a friend of Sandford confirmed the romance was well and truly over. ‘Frankie felt they had gone as far as they could. They split earlier this year but got back together to make things work but sadly it didn’t. Frankie has moved out of the place they shared.’

It’s the second bout of heartache in weeks for The Saturdays after Rochelle Wiseman, 21, moved out of the house she shared with 25-year-old JLS singer Marvin Humes.
