The Saturdays have confirmed that their upcoming LP will be a mini album.
The group recently unveiled the title of their third studio record as Headlines. Band member Una Healy has since revealed it will be a mini album.
Discussing the group’s upcoming plans, she told RTE: “We have a mini album coming out at the end of August, loads of summer shows all over the UK , performing all the time, and that’s it really!
“And we have a book coming out in September, an autobiography about who we were before the band, how we got into the band and how it’s been until now.”
Healy also confirmed that fans can expect to see a return of the bright colours that the band wore during their first album campaign.
She told Ireland’s TV3: “We love our colour, and we went away from that for a while, and are fans were like ‘Please bring back the colour!’ So we’re bringing back the colour!”
The band will premiere the music video for the album’s trailer single ‘Missing You’ on Saturday.

Before then though, you can watch a teaser clip of the vid here.
‘Headlines’ is the follow-up to the group’s last album ‘Wordshaker’, as released last October (2009). Although full details haven’t been announced yet, The Saturdays revealed that they worked with ‘Break My Heart’ hit maker Taio Cruz on new material for the CD.
Sexy girl group The Saturdays will add a touch of glamour to a charity race night for Cash for Kids.
The chart-toppers, Frankie, Mollie, Rochelle, Una and Vanessa, will perform live after the fundraising meeting at Hamilton Park Race night tomorrow.
The South Lanarkshire racecourse is holding a series of new fundraising schemes throughout the season to boost funds for underprivileged children.
They will begin tomorrow with a silent auction where all proceeds will go directly to Cash for Kids.
On the same night a special fundraising shopping mall will be set up with a contribution from all sales going to the charity.
Racecourse bosses, who are supporting the dedicated night for the third year running, will also introduce an on-site donation box at Hamilton Park during all 18 meetings this season.
Vivien Kyles, chief executive of Hamilton Park, said: “Everyone at the racecourse is looking forward to what will be a very busy and glamorous evening with racing, fundraising and the small matter of The Saturdays singing live.”
Tickets priced £13 are available from www.hamilton-park.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk for tomorrow’s event.
