The Saturday to appear at the Midlands Music festival on July 18th

The Midlands Music FestivalBelieve it or not, it hasn’t even been 2 years since THE SATURDAYS touched down on Planet Pop and quickly set about redecorating it in the neon shades of their sparklingly fluorescent hyper-pop.

Since then a combination of nifty, killer tunes, super-tight performances and pure hard graft has taken Frankie, Mollie, Rochelle, Una and Vanessa from bright-eyed pop ingénues to permanent fixtures on the UK charts and now to The Midlands Music Festival stage.

Treating festival goers to a collection of their biggest hits including Issues, Forever is over and their recent smash hit Ego, The Saturdays are sure to set the festival stage alight this year and the guys and girls at festival HQ (particularly the guys) just can’t wait.

[EDITED] Frankie leads the way as The Saturdays Go Ape at adventure park

Confident: Frankie Sandford swings off an elevated platform as she makes the most of the equipment at Go Ape adventure park in Suffolk
Frankie Sandford leads the way as The Saturdays Go Ape at adventure park
She has already conquered the music charts with band The Saturdays, but Frankie Sandford turned  her attention to the much more daunting zip wire earlier this week.

The 21-year-old singer visited the Go Ape theme park in Suffolk with bandmates Una Healy, Rochelle Wiseman and Vanessa White ahead of a performance at Thetford Forest.

And instead of looking terrified at the prospect of launching herself off an elevated platform, Frankie couldn’t hide her excitement as she made the leap.

Wearing a pale yellow T-shirt, denim shorts and biker boots, Frankie grinned as she zipped her way through the greenery of the pine forest.

Ahead of the Go Ape visit, Frankie tweeted fans: ‘Go ape on Friday!!!! Actually can not wait!!!’

But as much as Frankie was excited about the trip, bandmate Vanessa slightly less relaxed about the experience.

Vanessa, 20, clung on for dear life as she travelled on the zip wire, screaming loudly with a look of panic on her face – while an amused Frankie looked on.

As well as zip wires, Go Ape is also equipped with rope climbing fences – a favourite of Rochelle’s, by the looks of it.

What Katie did next? She got replaced by The Saturdays

The article is a bit rude, but here we go …

http://www.newsmediaimages.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/The-Saturdays-newsmediaimages.jpg

When ‘gob-a-job‘ Katie Price saw pictures of herself in a bikini looking chunky she immediately went to rage and rant mode at poor Alex Reid.

The mouth seizure raged at Alex:

“You’ve made me fat.”

She blamed Alex’s high protein diet for her extra weight.

To make matters worse, ITV2 have just announced that it has a younger and hotter show set to replace her reality show ‘What Katie did next’.

We can reveal the channel have lined up hot tease mistresses The Saturdays.

The series will be called, Just Can’t Get Enough and will follow the girl storm everywhere it goes.

An ITV source told us:

“The Saturdays are everything Kate isn’t. They’re young, very sexy, easy to work with, professional, polite and their careers are on the up.”

” As for Kate, I’m just glad to see the back of her, but don’t quote me.”

The Saturdays please the crowd in Thetford

Slick, sexy and incredibly fun – The Saturdays had the audience in the palm of their hand on Friday night as they played to thousands in High Lodge.

This five-piece girl group may have been one member down as Molly recovered from what was said to be a bad insect bite, but this did not stop them entertaining the crowd of screaming fans who danced along to tracks including Up, Just Can’t Get Enough and One Shot.

The Wanted, a brand-new boy band, was the warm-up act for Thetford Forest gig and did they warm up the audience. Girls were screaming as the boys cheekily chatted their way through their set with a handful of energetic songs including their new single, All Time Low, which was enjoyed by the audience.

The Saturdays maintained amazing energy for their one-hour-and-a-half and set with slick dance routines, perfectly choreographed, the girls strutted about the stage, singing every note in tune and infecting the crowd with enthusiasm.

A well-received acoustic set included a cover of Justin Bieber’s chart-topper Baby, saw the audience dancing and singing along to, and their new track Higher, was also a popular number with fans.

As a fun-filled evening came to a close, the fans cheered “Ego, Ego, Ego,” and the girls replied: “Well, you get what you ask for!” And the energetic foursome bounded into the tune of the evening and their most-popular hit Ego.

An amazing performance full of fun and enthusiasm; these girls have the whole package to offer and infectious energy to go with it. It definitely left the audience feeling “higher and higher”.
