Design an outfit for the girls and you might even win their new album

The Saturdays will be coming to Habbo August 10th to celebrate the launch of their new single ‘Missing You’!

Vanessa, Una, Frankie, Rochelle and Mollie will be talking to you about their new album and the first single ‘Headlines!’ – on sale from 8th August.

To celebrate the girls visit you can take part in an amazing competition – design a hot new summer outfit for each of the Saturdays to wear during their Habbo visit – the winner will be announced on the day of the visit, and will win a signed copy of ‘Headlines!’ and ‘Missing You’ – find out more here!

With The Sugababes missing in action and Girls Aloud on indefinite hiatus, The Saturdays, by default, have become Britain’s top girl band.

Since 2008, the five-piece have scored seven top 10 hits, and are aiming for an eighth with new single Missing You.

The song, which borrows JLS’s “raveballad” template, precedes a mini-album later this month.

According to their record label, the CD will “act as a bridge” between last year’s Wordshaker and a full album in 2011.

Singer Vanessa White explains the concept to the BBC – and recounts the band’s horrible history of leg injuries.

Your last album only came out in October. How did you get another one ready so soon?

To be honest, we took a break at the beginning of the year and within that time, we went to the studio loads and did some really, really cool stuff.

We weren’t really supposed to be releasing anything til next year but we couldn’t wait, so we decided to do a mini-album instead.

What exactly is a mini-album?

A normal album would maybe consist of 12 or 13 tracks, but here we have eight. It’ll be cheaper for the fans – and then hopefully we’ll finish the other songs and put something else out later.

Missing You is quite a departure from your normal style. Why is that?

If you listened to the album, you’d say it was an updated version of our sound. Missing You is more out-there than that rest of it. It’s fun to experiment.

Wiseman ‘reveals next Saturdays single’

Rochelle Wiseman has revealed that The Saturdays will release ‘Higher’ as their next single.

The singer told Entertainment Focus that the track would follow ‘Missing You’ as the next release from their mini-album Headlines!.

“Our next single ‘Higher’ is a classic Saturdays pop tune, along the lines of ‘Up’ and ‘Ego’,” she said.

“We can’t help but dance around when it comes on!”

Last month, Wiseman told fans that the video for the single, which has received positive feedback from fans after live performances, was being shot in “four weeks”.

The 21-year-old also disagreed that the group’s second album Wordshaker had underperformed.

“Erm… I don’t really agree with that but I think there’s always a lot out there so I guess it’s kind of hard. I don’t necessarily agree with that,” she responded.

However, she confessed that she had not wanted to release a third single from the album.

“No, no, no. Definitely not. Definitely, definitely not,” she said.

Mollie King recently told DS that the band could release more singles from the new LP.

“We’re definitely having another single from the album after ‘Missing You’ and probably another after that if all goes well,” she said.

Marvin JLS Wants To Marry Rochelle Saturdays

He says she’s the one…

Marvin out of JLS has said he wants to marry Rochelle off of The Saturdays.

The singer, who shot to fame with his boyband in 2009’s X Factor, has revealed he knows Rochelle is the one as the couple prepare to move in together.

He told Closer: “I wouldn’t be with her unless I thought she was the one I wanted to have kids with and get married to”

The 25-year-old added that he thinks the Ego singer will be “the most incredible wife and mum.”

He cannot wait to move in, too, adding: “I’ve found my dream house and Rochelle and I will be moving in”

Rochelle’s only 21…do you think the couple could be moving a little too fast?
