Saturdays to debut New Single at Festival

The Saturdays at T-Mobile's Big Sofa/Night In launchThe Saturdays will perform their new single at the Isle of Wight music festival this weekend.

The group recently announced details of ‘Missing You’, the first single from their forthcoming third studio album.

The band will debut the track during a one-hour set at the three-day event, which also includes Jay-Z, Blondie, Pink and Paul McCartney among others.

Saturdays member Rochelle Wisemen posted on her Twitter account: “Rehearsing for our 1 hour set at the Isle of Wight festival with our band…the first time we are performing our brand new single :)”

It was recently revealed that the group are working with producer Steve Mac on their next record.

Saturdays ‘so excited’ to play forest venue

As the heat rises and summer begins to sizzle, festival fever is upon us and one girl band are busy rehearsing for a special show this season.
The Saturdays have catapulted to fame in the last year with popular singles including Issues, Just Can’t get Enough and Ego hitting the UK charts and fans swarming UK sell-out venues to hear the five-piece girl group perform.

Made up of Frankie Sandford, Mollie King, Vanessa White, Rochelle Wiseman and Una Healy, the five-piece will grace the stage at the High Lodge Forestry Commission summer concert in Thetford Forest in July and have said they are excited to be coming to Suffolk.

Saturdays reveal album producer

The Saturdays have revealed that they are working on their new album with Steve Mac.

The producer worked on the girl group’s last album Wordshaker, which spawned top ten hits ‘Fovever Is Over’ and ‘Ego’. He has also worked with artists such as Kelly Clarkson, JLS and Leona Lewis.

Band member Rochelle Wisemen tweeted: “In the studio today with the genius that is Steve Mac!!”

The Saturdays recently confirmed that the title of their new single is ‘Missing You’. The video was shot in Spain at the end of last month.

Keeping the glamour stakes high: The Saturdays hit the town to celebrate Mollie King’s birthday

With their glossy good looks and feminine approach to fashion, the presence of all five of The Saturdays is sure to raise the glamour stakes wherever they are.
And as they celebrated Mollie King’s birthday at the Alto nightclub in Soho, central London the girls didn’t let their fans down.

In a short, tight bubble-gum pink dress, King – now 23-years-old – was the girliest of the quintet leaving her long blonde hair loose and teaming the outfit with black heels.

Meanwhile, Rochelle Wiseman donned an elegant grey strapless bustier, knee-length skirt and white shoes.

And she accessorised the ensemble with a mystery man – who raised a few eyebrows when she was seen holding hands with the man as she arrived at the London nightclub to begin the celebrations.

However, the 21-year-old’s boyfriend – Marvin Humes of boyband JLS – needn’t lose sleep over it.

Saturdays star Mollie King hails Cheryl Cole as group’s inspiration

SATURDAY’S star Mollie King yesterday hailed Cheryl Cole as the girl group’s inspiration.

The Girls Aloud singer’s new solo career and TV stardom has inspired The Saturdays but Mollie says spin-offs can wait.

She, Frankie, Una, Rochelle and Vanessa are putting the finishing touches to their long-awaited third album.

And Mollie insists her band will always come first.

The Saturdays star denies Wedding Rumour

The Saturdays star Frankie Sandford has said that she is not planning to get married “just now”.

According to More, the singer, who recently reunited with McFly star Dougie Poynter said that she hopes to marry in the future but isn’t in a rush to tie the knot.

When asked about the possibility of marriage, she said: “I don’t know, we’ll see! I’ve always wanted to get married one day and have my own family. But not just now.”

AdvertisementReferring to her boyfriend, she said: “This is going to sound really weird, but I knew we’d get on, even before we’d actually met.”

“When we were younger, magazines would often ask him who he liked, and he’d always say me, even though he didn’t really know me.”

“When I was in S Club Juniors I thought he seemed nice, and when we met, I was like, ‘Yeah, this is definitely right’.”

Saturdays finish video for new single

Article form last week, but I desided to post it anyway:


The Saturdays have finished shooting the video for their new single.

The group flew out to Spain last week to record the promo for the currently-unknown song and have since tweeted about their eagerness to show fans the new clip.

They wrote: “On our way home from Spain, can’t wait to see the finished video!”

Pictures recently leaked to the press reveal the band on the beach wearing bikinis and maxi dresses for the video, but they insist on their micro-blogging page: “The video has so much more to give…worry not!”

It is rumoured that their new single will be released in August.
