Frankie Sandford has dismissed rumours that she is secretly dating Ashley Cole.The Sun today claimed that the footballer – who split from wife Cheryl in February – was trying to keep his new relationship with The Saturdays singer under wraps.
Sandford, who was yesterday forced to shoot down suggestions that she was dating Aston Merrygold, has since taken to Twitter to refute the speculation about Ashley, writing: “Really upset and angry by the story in The Sun. Can’t believe they can just print something that’s not true. I’ve never even met the man.”
Sandford’s label Fascination Records echoed her sentiments in a similar post and is believed to be consulting lawyers over the article.
A tweet on the company’s Twitter account reads: “The story about Frankie in The Sun today is not true. She has never met him. We cannot say anymore as we are taking legal action.”
Sandford recently claimed that she has been single since she broke up with McFly star Dougie Poynter earlier this year.
