The Saturdays have begged the public to buy their Comic Relief record and get them to number one.
The group, who are currently trailing Flo Rida in the midweek charts, urged fans to go out and buy their new single ‘Just Can’t Get Enough‘.
“Everyone who does a Comic Relief single gets to number one and the Sats do not want to be the first band not to!” Frankie Sandford told InTheNews.
“We’re excited for the day though, it’s a massive thing for us and so early on in our career, so it’s a big deal for us.”
Fellow band member Una Healy added that Depeche Mode, who originally recorded the song, had given the group their full support.
“They actually said they didn’t have a number one with it, so they hoped we might!” she said.
The Saturdays recently announced details of their first headlining tour.
